I am receiving duplicates of all the e-mails sent to the members e-mail account (for Westenders)

In more detail: Whenever an e-mail is sent to the club “members” e-mail which then automatically sends that same e-mail to everyone on the members list, I always receive duplicates of the e-mail. It is not a site wide or e-mail distribution issue. The administrator details for club e-mails did not indicate that my e-mail had been entered anywhere in more than one location or that I should receive two copies all communications.

I attached a screenshot of what is going on.

Our email logs only go back to March 30th, so I have nothing to check for this... Do you have anything more recent?

You may have a case of someone set up with a forwarding rule somewhere.

You may have gotten duplicates, because you had both boxes checked in your email...

Here is something more recent.

I contacted my group about my concern. On their end, they only have one email in the system. They proceeded to contact Toastmaster International Helpdesk which said that it would be something associated with our website, which was created/setup by FreeToastHost. I also checked my member profile (westenders.toastmastersclubs.org/), and I don't see any reason why I am receiving duplicates...

"You may have gotten duplicates, because you had both boxes checked in your email..."
What do you mean? What both boxes? Primary and Secondary emails? No, there's only one e-mail there.

Thanks. I am curious: Would you see in April 27 if there was an email sent to a variant of my email? Instead of "Anya", one sent to "Anna"? I wonder if that could be the reason, as my email changed from Anna to Anya a few months ago.

Go to your email settings and uncheck the boxes [email changes & role change notification] if you do not want emails sent to you every time some makes a change. That would be in your profile settings.

I don't see any emails going to "Anna".

Try opening a reply to each of a duplicate pair. I'm using Outlook 2007, yours might be different, but look for the "Account" button. In mine it is directly below the "Send" button. Open that and see if both are using the same account.

It seems that only some of the emails are being duplicated - is there any pattern - perhaps they are only duplicated when sent by certain people?

Hello Pam:

I believe when you mean "same account", it is my account? Or sent from same e-mail address? If so, both yes (I have Outlook 2010, so the "Account" button isn't anywhere to be found).

It seems that only some of the emails are being duplicated - is there any pattern - perhaps they are only duplicated when sent by certain people?

I only get duplicate e-mails when I receive an e-mail from "agenda-5370 AT toastmastersclubs DOT org".

To rephrase: Essentially, whenever an e-mail is sent to the club “members” e-mail (agenda-5370) which then automatically sends that same e-mail to everyone on the members list, is when I always receive duplicates of an e-mail. (I hope that makes sense?)

When I get e-mails from people from Toastmasters (i.e., from their e-mail, not from agenda-5370), I don't get duplicates.

LindaMann: I am afraid that is not the issue - even when I did check only one box - I am still getting duplicate emails.
