Hi Steve
I also have access to Serendipity website #648004. When I accessed to look at the same area (Meeting Description) it looked the same error as Centenary #7645.
However (& here it gets weird) I had looked at it 5 minutes prior to that & all was fine!
My daughter is with me & can verify this even though it seems strange
Hope this helps
Warm regards Dee

Steve, this is what Dee sees on the Console Tab when the Meeting Description Tab is open showing the source:
Password fields present on an insecure (http://) page. This is a security risk that allows user login credentials to be stolen.[Learn More] <unknown>
Error: CKEditor should be loaded before CKEditor jQuery adapter.
jquery.js:5:148
TypeError: jQuery(...).ckeditor is not a function
agenda.min.js:1:3006

Could the anti-virus software (Avast) could be causing this?

Ok, I have computer access again.

The screen dumps do not help since any errors would show on the console tab of the developer console which is not showing in the screen dumps.

Can you please do this again, and click the console tab before doing the screen capture?

Steve. The code I provided is the text from the console tab.

I thought that would be easier to read than the screen dump, Do you want a screen dump as well?

yes more context is better.

I think the last line is the key part.

Do you get the problem if you refresh, load the admin console (look at home page editor) without going to agenda page?

Also, if you can click on the debugger tab and see what is highlighted that is helpful.

I need to see what is crapping out and causing the problem.

Hi again
Here are the screen dumps you've requested. Hope it helps. I haven;t done the same on Serendipity site #648004 which shows the same problem but only with me as administrator. The administrator of that site doesn't ever see that problem when they log in.

Is it only the meeting description that has this issue?

Is it only in Firefox that you see the issue?

Steve, Dee is out this evening. She had the same problem with the home page (see second attachment in message #55683 above).

Dee tried a custom page yesterday - same thing there (no editor icons).

She also tried using IE (not sure which version) and had the same problem - we only checked the agenda.

Same problem on her other club agenda

Yesterday Dee had a technician come to check her PC - at that stage she managed to get onto the other club site and see the icons, but when she tried again with me a couple of hours later she couldn't see them there either. The technician said there was nothing wrong with her internet speed.... But FTH is very slow, especially reloading from server.

She hasn't had the icons on Centenary for some time, but it was intermittent for a while before that.

I wonder if her anti-virus software (Avast) could be affecting this?

Hi Steve
Some different things for today.
I logged into the website & this time when I chose 'edit' then 'Agenda Description' the format bar was there! It's the same agenda that i tried yesterday without success. I tried another agenda but it was back to the weird type again. Went back to the one that had worked & it was weird again!
However, a new message also appeared when i accessed the Agenda description: it was "CKEDITOR javascript not loaded! "
Just went into Serendipity #648004 & went through the same process to see the weird type plus the above message about Javascript. That has never appeared before. My daughter uses Serendipity every day & has never had a problem so it's my computer for sure.
Hope all this helps & if you feel I should contact the IT people again I'll do so.
Regards Dee

I added the "CKEDITOR javascript not loaded! " message... I had not yet had a chance to post here to let you know I added that as a test message.

I switched club 7645 over to running test code. This means I can make test fixes and changes to the code that only runs for your club.

Thanks for the post... this confirms that CKEDITOR (the editor code) is not getting loaded.

I will probably move that message or variations of it around a bit. Don't be surprised if you see some pop-ups you have not seen before.

BTW... I am the system developer. Thus, I can do this sort of thing. ;)

WOW.. I'm impressed & relieved to know that I am in good hands Steve!
So I guess it's you who added this little extra as well. I won't be concerned about it now & will ignore any new pop-ups..

Hi Steve
When I open up the Internet area it shows up on the bottom left of the page.
Also, the screen went black & it wasn't happy on 'safe' mode about 20 minutes ago so I had the IT man check it out. He said that as it was a 'once of' & nothing was wrong now to just watch it. I asked him about the speed as that was up for question. He checked & the computer is running OK in that area but he checked & the attached is what happens when i log into FTH. He wondered if that may help you find the problem as it's abnormally high & bouncing around all over the place. All double-dutch to me but I guess every bit of info helps.

Could you click the reload link at the very bottom of your website home page, then attempt to load the agenda editor again? Let me know what the pop-up message shows..

Hi Steve
Did the reload button bit & this time the same message about javascript not running came up (as emailed previously) but then a new one appeared as per attached. I then tried to edit the Agenda description but it is still weird.

Sounding like you have a slow internet connection that is causing some issues...

All the hops in the trace don't help.

Have you tried accessing your websites from a different computer? (like at work or a friend's house)
That would confirm if it is the internet connection.

Hi Steve
It is my computer at fault as the same happens when I log into FTH for my other club as well. (Their administrator has no problems). My provider (Optus) & my IT guys are at a loss & cannot help & cannot find anything. While it does run a little slow both said not enough to cause any major challenges. They have heaps of people running well on less.
You have spent so much of your valuable time on this issue, so I'll now call it a day. I'll have someone else take care of the Agenda descriptions.
Thank you so much for your amazing support. You & Pam have been wonderful.
Warmest regards
Dee
