I have been the site administrator for my club #2028 for years. Last week, one of our members tried to upload a picture to the site, and I do not know if any of his actions contributed to this problem. However, long story short - when one logs in and proceeds to take a first step on the Admin Programs box, they get logged out automatically. This happened twice this morning. I was going to change some of our members from "members" to "former members," but when I clicked that page I got this message:

***DATA TRANSFER ERROR***
JavaScript Function = AJAXLoader[WhichVar = All Membership] Status = Data transfer FAILED
>>>YOU ARE NO LONGER LOGGED IN. PLEASE LOG IN AGAIN<<<
Please notify us about this at support.toastmastersclubs.org.

So, I'm merely doing what the message told me. I need your help for this issue to be resolved. I have not encountered this at any time in the past and obviously our site will be out of commission until this is changed.

Thanks,

Phil McDade

It sounds to me like cookie settings may be the culprit. Please see support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/cookie-settings for further details.

It is the bad photo ref that is killing the login. The photo src is referencing the authentication code via index.cgi

It kills the login as soon as the page is displayed. If you login as admin, then do a page refresh, you will see what I mean.

No matter what page you start with before doing admin login, it always goes to home, which kills the login via the image src.

We don't have a photo stripper, so this is going to be interesting to fix... May need a db call to kill the bad photo ref.

Ok, all good now. I had to save the home page contents, kill the home page, then restore it without the bad photo stuff. It was killing the login.

Next in line, please!!! :silly:
