I could not find any information about this in searching but I am going to imagine I am not the only one to whom this has happened. Our district domain expired last week and the person to registered it is long gone. We don't have any of the credentials to access the GoDaddy account or the email attached to the account.

Fellow webmasters, add this to the list of important information that needs to be passed to each leadership team on July 1!

Do you have a procedure that would allow us to regain control of the site? Since the site is down, I can't get to the control panel.

You can always access your website via d11.toastmastersclubs.org

Keep in mind that if you cannot access it via the custom domain, then no-one else can either... think about the various locations that the custom domain is referenced.

Generally, I recommend using the club or district number forms of the FTH website addresses for places that would be important to keep functioning even if a domain expires. For example, for clubs, I generally recommend that they use the club number form for the website address in Find A Club.

Because domain names are usually tied to a person, and there is an element of turnover in Toastmasters, you must always consider how to maintain functionality if a person moves on that was associated with the domain.

I am guessing you are referring to the District website, we have no control over domain names.
