I'm trying to forward the old URL "ccbtoastmasters.com" to "ccb.toastmastersclubs.org" on FTH 2.0. I have the FTH URL listed in the forwarding details of the domain host, but it doesn't forward. Then I came across NameServers. I added NS01.DOMAINCONTROL.COM, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hey Steve,
I'm confused. The link you provided is what I originally read and it seem to describe how to point a private URL to the FTH 2.0 custom club URL. Did I miss something?

Are you trying to get rid of ccbtoastmasters.com or keep it?

If you are trying to keep it, then you need to set it up as a custom domain via the instructions I referred you to. You will need to access your DNS settings at your domain registrar's website.

If you are not trying to keep it, then just set up a website alias, clear the domain name, and you are done.

You can have both the domain name and the alias, but you cannot forward one to the other. The system recognizes them both independently of each other.

Sorry, on vacation with limited digital presence. We are keeping the private domain, but want people to be redirected to the FTH location if they happen use or search and find the old domain. Is this the alias that you spoke of? If so, I'm not sure I saw where to make that happen.

We do not support domain forwarding from an old domain. Sorry.

I guess I could load up a page with a link to inform the web surfer that the page has moved to "click here" to go to the new site. Does that make sense?
