I am VP PPR of Tara Toastmasters club in Dublin Ireland (club no. 3141).

We have been using taratoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org/ but wanted to use our own domain instead to access the site. We had registered taratoastmasters.org some time back, and decided to make the change by adding it as a 'custom domain'.

I made the DNS changes with our local ISP as per instructions on the 'Basic Settings' tab in FTH control panel.

I entered the 'custom domain' taratoastmasters.org in the right hand box, and pressed 'save'. I didn't see any message re success or non-success of this move. So I deleted the entry in the left hand box (which I recall was taratoastmasters).

I then got a message saying 'do you wish to reload from server'? I pressed yes to this. But now I see that when I press taratoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org/ I arrive at the page www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/ It looks as if all our content has been lost! Can you help us recover it?!

best regards
Conor (club 3141)

Update: It looks like the above was a false alarm - the content has now migrated successfully to the custom domain www.taratoastmasters.org/ (I would delete my post, but I don't see a way of doing so - only of editing it - so thank you all for your patience).... I am one relieved VP PR!

you cleared the website alias so taratoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org will no longer work

3141.toastmastersclubs.org will always work

www.taratoastmasters.org now works

Thank you,

Should verify that email works by sending to an officer email alias...
