Currently our website can be accessed through both pmisactm.toastmastersclubs.org/ and through pmisactm.toastmastersclubs.org/. Am I able to set up a redirect as the website admin?

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response! :)

I know how to access the admin console, but I can only see how to change our website address under basic website settings. Is there a way to set up the redirect from pmisactm.toastmastersclubs.org/ to pmisactm.toastmastersclubs.org/ in order to ensure none of our members are accessing the website from an insecure connection?

Thanks!

We are working through the issues now, as Brian is alluding to.

In the mean time, as a *temporary* measure, you might try inserting the following short javascript snippet at the top of your home page HTML (use Source View to access the raw html and insert at the top.):

<script>if (!/^https:/i.test(window.location.href)) window.location.replace(window.location.href.replace(/^http:/i,'https:'))</script>

This should be considered a temporary measure, since we will have a better way that will have less of an impact on server performance.

You need to be sure all your content is secure, also.

Your home page photo is not accessed securely. Make it a relative URL for it be accessed securely.

Hi, President of Club 2796 here. I am not sure what you mean by Source View. I do see a NEW section where we are currently NOT enforcing HTTPS rules. If I say yes to this, will it fix our unsecured website issue?

Thank you,
Melody Bailey

HTTPS support is new in the system, and is currently "bare bones". You do not have to force https usage to use https. If you explicitly load your website via https, it will run that way for you.

One thing to be aware of is that your website content (images, movies, flash, etc.) will need to be loaded in a way that is compatible to https also.

Please review the following thread where I discuss mixed content issues and how to address them:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/4-general-...ps-support-continued

You need to be prepared to tweak some of your website content before committing to enforcing HTTPS for your club members.
