I'm unable to delete or upload a PDF to our club's File Mgr. I searched for similar issues and found Peggy's undetermined issue: support.toastmastersclubs.org/5-support-...r-not-updating#55640

After hitting Refresh icon, I get:
Success! Information updated. Close window or select a new area to edit.

I closed File Mgr and reopened to no avail.

The nuance here is I'm trying to upload the same PDF file that already exists within File Mgr, but name it something shorter. I tried renaming file but won't stick so I decided to delete and re-upload. My goal is a shorter direct URL to give to out for public downloads.

On Win 10 PC, I tried both FF 54 and Edge browsers. Everything is cleared after closing browsers.

Any suggestions?

Also, we have a custom domain and I switched on Enforce HTTPS.

I used talkingideas.toastmastersclubs.org
logged in as Admin and was able to delete both files.

I'm able to upload/delete after logging in via https talkingideas.toastmastersclubs.org, but not https talkingideas.org. I assume that has something to do with custom domain and forced HTTPS, but above my pay grade.

My real issue is I'm not allowed to rename file during upload to shorten URL. I must rename PDF, then upload to get desired result. If untrue, please point me towards How To file.

I confirm all three login version work. I uploaded, viewed and deleted a PDF from these combinations:

https talkingideas.toastmastersclubs.org
http talkingideas.org (Do Not Enforce HTTPS)
https talkingideas.org (Enforce HTTPS)

Thanks for resolving issue.

What about my other question regarding creating a shorter file name or URL so I can more easily share with guests?

If you have uploaded to the File Manager you can change the displayed file name there as you wish that is displayed in the download areas. Are you referring to something else?
