Hello,
Members of my club have been receiving multiple (approx 10) blank emails from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. It has happened the past two nights right after midnight. I am not sure if it's part of the spam problem that has already been mentioned, but it is some concern. Please let me know if more information is needed.

It is unlikely to be spam, but it could be a malfunction. The two are different.

Can you please post the raw email showing the headers so that I can take a look? If you are not sure how to do that, please tell me what email agent/software you are using so that I can point you in the correct direction.

From a review of our logs, it appears that all of the problems are tied to a single sender, Chris Waclawik. Not sure why yet.

What email agent/software is Chris using?

It looks like there were problems for the SMTP server to connect to send the email, and it kept trying. i have a max # of retries set at 11, so what you got may be some remnant of the retry loop. (not entirely sure though)

I have also made a small change based on a hunch.
