So, we should not have this problem in the future...
 Long story short, I may have inadvertently caused this by fixing a different, but related problem. Some of the email entries in club black lists were encoded like for a URL .... e.g. myaddress%40gmail.com instead of This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ... The former will not work for black lists but the latter does work. When I fixed the encoding issue, I am guessing that there were members email addresses that were suddenly recognized as part of the black lists. This originated due to the "Is this spam?" links in emails that were confusing members and they were clicking them when they should not have... that has since been updated to prevent members from inadvertently blacklisting themselves, so once we get past clearing out the members email addresses in black lists, everything should be fine. Sorry for the inconvenience... I try to fix one thing and something else gets broken.   |
