Hi,

I am new in the VP Membership role in my club #3898174. I am trying to print name tags and unable to come even close to duplicating what I was given. I've tried looking at every template and none look at all like our name tags really. I've also tried just creating a new one and can't find the graphics components I would need.

I'm hoping that our club template exists somewhere and can be made available to me. Is that possible or do I have to figure out how to recreate it? With my eyesight I'll never find matching fonts...

Please let me know what i need to do.

Thanks!

It may be a bit challenging to produce name tags that do not follow our provided templates. However, as I designed the current name tag templates and created the functionality, I can probably coach you through this.

First thing I need from you though, is for you to post a sample of your current name tag here and I also need specifics about the dimensions of your current name tag. If you print your current name tags on commercial name tag stock, give me the brand and part number of that also. (e.g. the Avery part number, if you have that)

The more information you can give me about what you are trying to duplicate, the more I can coach you on how to best move forward. (or if it is possible with the FTH name tag feature)

We just use regular 8.5 x 11 card stock, print them and cut them out at about 3.5" H x 4. 25" wide. They fit nicely in our holders at that size.
The file attached and inserted is an example.

The previous VPM said that he gets this format when he uses the membership tools and selects to print name tags.
When I did the same, I got a blue topped template with the TMI log on the RHS.
Didn't want to have to reinvent the wheel here...

Thanks!

Ok, so some questions for you:

1. How proficient with HTML are you? If you want an *exact* match, you are going to have to do some monkeying around with raw HTML. I can coach you, but I am not going to do this for you, particularly when the provided templates I have already put work into on my time address the vast majority of name tags most clubs use.

2. Do you realize that your current name tags actually are using the district color scheme? Blue banner is for clubs, red is for districts. Trust me, I know this... I had to do a bit of research when I implemented the name tags feature. If you are dead set on the red background, you will need to use a district template.

3. How dead set are you on having the TM logo at the left side? All my templates and stock backgrounds have it on the right side.

4. How dead set are you on having the sunburst from the TM logo? None of my templates use that variation, but I do have it in some of the stock background images.

5. You should be able to add the yellow stripe background by just adding a table row to the table that contains the logo and club name.

6. Can you get the part number of the name tag holders? The name tag dimensions you are giving me do not match anything I have seen thus far. The exact dimensions *do* matter.

BTW, the logo is on the right in my templates to match its placement with the name tags that TI sells in its online store:
