Do we happen to have script that blocks embedded code? I am attempting to place embedded publication on our website & our site for some reason will not allow it to open. It does however open on other html sites.

The page on our site is located at: www.toastmastersofpalosheights.com/Beyond_Words.html

Thank you,
Chuck Bern

You can use Iframe, that is the only way to include content from other sites.

FTH does not support external scripts.

Chuck, we do strip meta tags specifically, as those have no purpose in content. However, most other types of elements are preserved.

However, that does not mean that user provided scripts will work properly. There is the potential for clashes with system scripts unless the script identifiers and class names are properly prefixed with a namespace identifier. Because of all the potential for lots of problems, there is no way we can provide support for user created/provided scripts.

If you are trying to essentially embed a document for viewing by website visitors (as it appears you are), you need to keep in mind that we do have nor provide any kind of embedded (in-page) document viewing capability for PDFs, Word Docs, etc. However, as we do support iframes, if you can find an iframe-based viewer, you may be able to make that work. If you upload the files to be viewed to the file manager, your website visitors can download them later for viewing via the respective apps on their computers, assuming that they have the needed applications installed (e.g. MS Word).

In general, working with documents in PDF form is the safest bet, as there are available PDF viewers you can find via Google, and there are embedable iframe based PDF viewers, also. Moreover, I have the file downloader set up to download PDFs as inline content, which allows them to be loaded by any browser provided inline viewer for PDFs.
