Hi,

I've been using FreeToastHost for my clubs for years, and I seem to recall that several times there have been issues with how Yahoo interacts with FreeToastHost emails. Yesterday one of my club officers reported to me that he sent a message to the general members@ email list, but his message was rejected. I checked, and his email is correctly in the system. Is there a current issue with sending messages from a yahoo address?

Club #31 (Portland Toastmasters)
The email that was rejected is guffeyp @ yahoo.com (spaces added).

thanks,

jim

I see an entry in the email log from this person, which shows:
FAILURE (Likely SPAM: Score: 5.2 / Threshold: 5; Bounced) Wed 2018/03/21 12:20:47 UTC Club:[31] From:[*******@yahoo.com] To:[members@portlandtoastmasters.org] CC:[] Subject:[***AREA CONTEST TONIGHT***] ALL To:[] ALL CC:[]

which suggests that the email may have too many features that spam filters don't like. It's not always easy to know what upsets the filter, but possibly, the subject line in all caps plus the asterisks might be pushing the spam score over the limit.

I would suggest changing the subject line and trying again.
