Hi from 8PTMC, Japan,

Recently we have a problem when we try to register new members. The names and e-mail addresses that we type in are not properly shown, they are drawn lines. I hope you would understand what I mean. This means that we cannot register them and send a message to them through FTM page.

I hope you'd help us with this problem.

I apologize, the action you are seeing is correct. The new member will need to "Opt In" to be officially added to the club.

The new member will receive an email with this information:

This is an automatically generated email. You have been added to the Eight Princes Toastmasters Club
(Club 699966) website located at:

Your name, email address (if provided), and your phone number (if provided) have been stored in the website.

Sorry for butting in here, but there is one small, but important distinction that is important to make...

The new member will need to "Opt In" to be officially added to the club website.

This only affects members (and non-members) being added to the club website. It has no bearing on them becoming Toastmasters members. They are still members regardless of whether they opt-in to the club website... but their member experience will likely be better if they do opt-in.
