Hello:

Thank you very much for your work in implementing the opt-in messages so that the system is in line with the new GDPR.

I was under the impression that all members on our membership list will receive an opt-in message, including existing members prior to the implementation of the changes, as well as brand new members added after the implementation. So far, though, only new additions have received the opt-in message.

Am I correct to deduce that existing members who were already on the membership list prior to the opt-in changes will not be getting the opt-in message?

I would be grateful for your confirmation.

Correct. The plan was only to send the opt-in emails to new "people" who were added on or after 5/25. I am purposely using the term "people" here because it is really members or non-members.

Also, it is important that people understand that this only affects them being added to the website. If they are new members in Toastmasters, they are still new members regardless of whether they are added to the website. (although their Toastmasters experience will be much better if they are added).
