Me and another member get this email message everytime we log in. This started about a week ago.

Good evening
A member from our club is also getting these messages with every log in. She has been clicking on the link to confirm her device each time. She uses the same computer to log in. Do you have any other suggestions to help resolve the issue on her end?

We will need to know more about her computer.

1) is it a work computer?
2) what version of windows?
3) what browser IE what version?

Hello Brian,

I just got confirmation - the member is using an ipad actually, and therefore Safari as a web browser. Not a work device, and no windows on it.

If your user types in https://1387766.toastmastersclubs.org?cookies they should get a dump of the cookies that the server is getting from the device. We should verify the existence of a line in the output saying "deviceUID=..." or something like that. It is relevant to this.

Thank you for all of your great tech support. Here is an update from our member:

I followed the instructions and did not get a ‘dump of cookies’. I got an empty screen with a line of letters and numbers only.
What I see on my screen is this: _ga=GA1.2.1046853907.1530182759 printed on an otherwise empty screen.

She is not able to take a screen capture, but hopefully the above info helps.

Your member needs to enable cookies for their device as Brian mentions above. If we cannot save a cookie file with a device identifier, they will continue to get these messages. Alternatively, they can disable the notification in their member profile, but they will still have other issues if we cannot save cookies.
