Two questions:

1) When I tried to enter a new member, I inadvertently clicked SAVE before I entered the email address. It shows the crossed-out member's name and in the email box, it says something like :noemail@.... which means that he will not be asked to opt-in. I can't find a way to edit it or delete it and start over. I don't want to have to wait 30 days until it disappears automatically. Any suggestions?

2) Is there a way to add someone to the agenda if they aren't on the Member List if we have a Guest Speaker? My get-around in the past, was to temporarily add them as a member and delete them as soon as the meeting was over. That's not practical now with the opt-in requirement.

Thanks, Liz Corbin

Hi Liz!!!

I was able to go in and delete "Ryan M" which was crossed-out, with a "noemail" address.

If this happens again, just check the box next to the name, and then in the drop-down menu titled "Membership tools," select "Delete People."

For adding a guest speaker, we all usually just add a member called "Guest" and select it whenever a guest is scheduled. This phantom member has the unique privilege of never having to pay club dues...

Take care...
