Hi Brian,
Club 6236, I am the admin and this problem has returned. For a long time the Toastmaster of the day was able to edit the agenda. I see now that they cannot. I have tried logout/login. I have tried reloading the page from the server. I have tried different web browsers. I have made offering of steel and aluminium to the gods. Nothing works.
Also: how do I permit the TMoD to edit the agenda? I know there was a setup somewhere but I have forgotten. Please help.

You need to make the role Toastmaster able to edit the Agenda. Edit the role and look in the last role definition tick box.

Thank you,

Brian, and all:
Okay, I solved it.
a. The setting to permit the TMOD to modify the agenda is not where I thought it should be. It's is found in EACH agenda setting.Hence if you had already generated your agenda and the permission had not been set at the agenda template, one will not get the TMOD permission.
b. best practice is to check the box that says "The person assigned to this role can edit this meeting agenda NEW!" at the TEMPLATE so that this permission is inherited by any agenda that uses this template.
thanks

Not every club names the "Toastmaster" role the same... not every club enables the "Toastmaster" to edit the agenda. Some clubs also want other roles to edit the agenda (General Evaluator). Sometimes you may want a contest agenda with the lead role being the "Contest Master".

Because of the wide variety of the way things work, the system is intended to be flexible on what roles can edit the agenda. If you add a new role with certain keywords in the role title (e.g. Toastmaster), generally the system will catch those and ask you if you want to enable them to edit the agenda.
