Club #999248 website TCOTS.toastmasterclubs.org My name and position. Ruth Iverson/VPE
I have members whose passwords just stopped working. The error message was we needed to accept cookies. We have done that. It still gives us the same error message “enable cookies”. Again, we have done this. We rebooted the iPhone and iPad and we are still receiving the same error message. How do we fix this? My new members are frustrated and feel they don’t have time to keep going through this nonsense. I agree with them and I am VERY frustrated. PLEASE provide information we can use to correct this. My members need to have the ability to go on our club website and sign up for a meeting role.

Steve,
I am very sorry. I really don’t mean to come across as a mean nasty person because I really am not. I am just very frustrated with the website and I am trying to help the club with passwords and other issues. When I had asked for assistance in creating new agendas about six weeks ago, I was sent the same message over and over (not by you) and I had explained several times we had tried the suggestions and they did not work. I finally got help elsewhere.
Steve, I have tried the suggestion you sent, and I’ve tried it a couple of times only to get the same error message. Is there anything you can do to help us out?

Well, the problem is that I do not have an iPad... I think Pam does.
(e.g., I may not be much help beyond what I have already done.)

It looks like another user had an issue with an iPad, but it cleared up all of a sudden... that is symptomatic of a caching issue. Because of that, I am going to suggest you have your member scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the reload link to see if that helps.

Thank you so very much,Steve. I never thought about the use of an iPad. But you are right. There are places where an iPad does not work. I will try it on my lap top with my Member. But first we will follow your advise and see how that works.
Thank you again for your help and I will definitely watch my attitude from now on. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. With you telling me about my attitude I would not have been able to fix it. I will be more lady like.
