Another option needs to be added for (L3 elective) Focus on the Positive.
For this particular project, it can be accomplished via either a 5-7 minute speech or a 2-3 minute report.
According to the Toastmasters Evaluation form it can be satisfied by either one.

I see a family of strings, *-L3-FOTP that fit this criteria such as 'PWDL-L3-FOTP' => '(L3 elective) Focus on the Positive (5-7 min)'.
There needs to be another one for the 2-3 minute option.

Thank you.

The thing is that we really do not use the times internally, they are just reference information for clubs' use. Can you persuade me why we need a separate item for this? Why couldn't we just make the project title be '(L3 elective) Focus on the Positive (2-3 min / 5-7 min)'. ?

Every time we create new codes, we also have to contend with the impact to what is already stored in the database.

Also, since Pam has been updating the json data file containing these, I will wait for her to weigh in, also.

First, thank you for reviewing my request so quickly.

Using (L3 elective) Focus on the Positive (2-3 min / 5-7 min) is a good idea and doesn't change the database overall.
However I'm also working with the members to use the agenda more for specifying available time. If one item can be two different times, how will the toastmaster know which one to pick and how to make sure the agenda timing is appropriate?
In the short term, doing a text update for the Pathways is the quickest.
If these is a new token made for the 2-3 minute, then the mapping should be seamless. On an outside glance, it didn't look like you used a numerical based array. Perhaps something like *-L3-FOTPR (with the "R" to indicate the shorter 2-3 minute report style).

I want to see what Pam thinks. If we make another token, I would probably want to append a number instead of a letter to make it easier to parse out the acronym corresponding to just the project name (e.g. by using a regular expression ^\w+-\w+-([a-zA-Z]+).* )

BTW, in the future, I think we will be able to just add the time ranges to the json data file as additional object properties for each project. For example: {"maxTime": 5, "minTime": 7} (We already added new object properties to add the file names for the project descriptions and project evaluation resources.)

Thank you. I'm the first one in our club doing Pathways, therefore I'm hitting it first. :cheer:
