The instructions for adding google verification must be out dated. They don't acknowledge my meta name tag for the verification. They insist upon uploading text file. I did not see this in the forum. I posted my google meta name tag in the area below the bing verification. nuttin - can't verify

Hi, patskelley!!!
In the webmaster tools meta tag, it's possible that there are a couple of characters missing. (At least it's different from the meta tag that's worked for me on my club's site.) Between the closing quote and the closing angle bracket, try adding a space and a slash character. The final characters would look like:

" />

instead of

">
