tulsatalkers Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 4 Thank you received: 0	We have set up our new domain name TULSA TALKERS.ORG properly at Network Solutions, and deleted our old one (GILCREASETOASTMASTERS.ORG) for Club 1384 in Basic Settings under Administrator login for FTH for Club 1384. Still, NEITHER one pings. And neither can be accessed by URL. We really need someone to help with this. Peggi Ridgway, Club Secretary and Web Administrator, Club 1384.

Generally, in most cases www is not needed to be used for custom domains, but it may be supported depending on how you have your custom domain name set up. For best results, I generally recommend setting up the DNS settings so that the domain name gets routed to the FTH server regardless of whether a user has used www. Traditionally, people have expected to use www, so it is good to include support for it.

If you are having issues with redirect caching, in most cases you can usually just put ? and some random number (e.g., ?23) directly after the domain name to force the domain name to work correctly. You can also just clear your browser cache, but you may not want to have to deal with that.
