It has been a while since I worked on FTH site. I am incoming secretary for Club and updating Membership section to track former members, prospects, etc. I just added several new members via Quick Add. Their information has strikeout. How does strikeout go away? Does notification go to them automatically. They don't appear in drop down menu to send welcome e-mail

Everyone added must opt in via the email that the system sends to them when they are added. Until they opt-in, they cannot be used in any FTH functionality. "Strikeout" indicates that they were added, but they have not yet opted-in. If they cannot find the opt-in email, you can re-send it to them via the Membership Tools drop-down... Resend Opt in Emails function.

This is required functionality for FTH... not optional and cannot be disabled. You can, however, modify some of the notification settings via the Membership Settings tab in Membership Management. For example, the welcome emails can be automatically sent when they opt-in.

Yes, it is the same for everyone. This was made a requirement because of the privacy and spam laws.
