I located some posts from July on this topic, but did not find any solution. I am getting this error when updating club meeting information. I have tried logging out, back in, re-entering the passwords on the Admin Info tab, and it confirms they match. Each time I go back to the Meeting/Information Tab and try to save changes it errors on the password match.

Please help.

1) we ALWAYS need your club number.
2) The error shown must be fixed before you can save any other changes.

1) Club #7801
2) I fixed the error and received confirmation of success when I saved. I would log out and then log back in.
3) I would then select the Meeting/Information Tab, make changes, yet upon saving it would still error on the password match.

I did finally resolve the problem by logging back in to administration (after successfully matched passwords). but instead of trying to make my edits to Meeting/Info first, I went back into the Admin Info tab first. Even though it had shown success on the passwords matching (2 above), there was a residual of a password (in red) entry on the left, blank on the right (confirmation password) when logging back in.even though I had just successfully matched and saved these passwords

By fixing the password issue BEFORE navigating elsewhere, the password confirmation 'took' and I was able to change and save other edits successfully.

Thanks, Mary Kaye

The password being left in the password box is because your browser has auto complete on.
This is a local function and nothing we can do.

You need to go to google and search for clearing autocomplete using your browser.

I do have an autocomplete "defeat" in place for the login dialogs, but I do not think I have that for the change admin password boxes. Let me see if I can put the "defeat" in place for that.

I put the autocomplete "defeats" in place for these change password text boxes. Hopefully, that helps the situation.

Unfortunately, the autocomplete in most browsers is bit too aggressive. Browsers need the ability to allow users to enable/disable autocomplete for each individual input box.
