Status: Attempting to view nextsteptm.toastmastersclubs.org/agenda.html results only in a spinning cursor and eventually a time out. Nothing is displayed. This happens every time.

History: I had normal operation while editing our agenda for 10-13-2019. I did at least half a dozen Saves with no problem. Then I made one more minor change in the description of an agenda item and was no longer able to view any agenda.

Other: I have reproduced the problem in Brave, Chrome, and Firefox browsers under Windows 10.

I will let someone else answer this. I think you have an html error on your page or javascript error. I hope you did not enter any code on the page. You are not suppose to do that... That creates errors

Just before the problem started I replaced a single line of text in one agenda item's description. This line consisted only of alphabetic characters, spaces, and a single period at the end. It's possible that I inadvertently hit one of the non-alphanumeric keys in the lower part of the keyboard and triggered the error.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I ran the web page source through various HTML validators and saw dozens of errors reported, many of which had to do with HTML5 non-compliance. None of the errors seemed related to the change I made.

I'm not an HTML developer, so I can't go any further down this path.

One possible clue ...

Looking at the HTML source in Firefox, I came across this line, which looks peculiar and is near the text entry I was editing at the time the error happened:

<span id="line480"></span></span><span><</span><span>Description></span><span></<span></span>s</span><span>pan>

Note "span" is split up as "s</span><span>pan". While not technically incorrect, this seems strange.

It is an HTML error. Somehow you likely borked it in the editor.

I do not currently validate HTML that users enter via the rich text editor, but I may need to do that in the future.

This is working again. There was a problem with the Role Description for the 10/13/2019 Educational Session role... it had some bad HTML in the role description. I cleared that Role Description.

This may have just been due to some wonky data transfer. (The text looks like I would expect for a bad data transfer.) You or someone else may have tried to save when the server started a db backup. :?
