I was able to log in as the site admin.
When you log in, the the menu on the left change to "Launch Admin Console"?

Thank you,

Thank you! No, the "launch administrative console" would not appear, and I was just in a loop of logging in over and over again with no results, but I was in Internet Explorer. I logged in as an administrator in my Edge browser, and was successful in logging in as administrator.

Internet Explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft, it should be removed as it has a multitude of security failures
