Hi,
Back when our club (5324194-Young Professionals SE Toastmasters) chartered in 2017 the FTH system created our club's email addresses. The addresses created for all members and officers do not have the club number embedded. When we try to use those addresses, the emails are returned undeliverable.

I need your assistance with either of these two options:
1- Get your assistance to establish functionality for the emails FTH created for our club.
2 - Get your assistance on how to change the emails FTH created to reflect the email addresses that do work. The email address that work are This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (this is obviously a treasurer email example).

We would prefer to use the email addresses that FTH created for our club.

I read a similar problem four years ago; didn't find any resent problems similar to mine that I could use to resolve my issue.

Should be: members-5324194@toastmastersclubs.org treasurer-5324194@toastmastersclubs.org Spelling matters. Also, any officer email address can be disabled in the members profile. Keep that in mind.

Ok, you are using a custom domain which switches the display of email addresses to the custom domain form in the email address listing.

However, in your case, you do not have your custom domain set up properly to handle email for FTH:
www.digwebinterface.com/?hostnames=young...8.8.4.4&nameservers=

Tell whoever set up your custom domain to follow our reference doc to set up the DNS records properly to handle the email for you w/ the custom domain:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

This change does not occur on your website... it occurs via your custom domain registrar website.

Good morning!
Unfortunately, I must contact you again. Godaddy followed the instructions documented on support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview yesterday. i tested the email address (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) this morning and it bounced back. So, I called godaddy's tech support this morning to get further assistance. The tech verified that the instructions on FTH support website was entered correctly on their end. Of course, they've referred me back to you.

I'd appreciate any help you can give our club to resolve this issue.

SteveTheTechie Offline Administrator Posts: 11526 Thank you received: 3795	I think you need one more A record to route mail to the server IP address: mail.youngprofessionalstoastmasters.com A 50.19.253.65 Get that record added and wait a few hours for everything to percolate through the internet.
