Good morning,
My club number is 748804, Toastmasters 4 Writers in Burbank CA.
Current members can go to a custom page we created to renew their dues using a PayPal button. HOWEVER, we need to change the dollar amount, and I'm not sure how to accomplish that..
I couldn't find your info regarding setting up a PayPal button.
Do I have to discard the existing button first, and then create a new button with the revised dollar amount?
Appreciate your help on this. Thanks.
David Jenkins

You have to follow the instructions on the paypal site for creating an email button.

Okay, I understand you don't provide support for PayPal-related matters. So here's what I found about the subject after navigating the confusing and ever-changing PayPal website. Just know that you need to find "View Your Saved Buttons" in order to proceed. Once you make and save your changes, you will need to get either their website code or email link, copy it, and enter it into the ToastHost page you use for renewals. Easier said than done!

Here's how to edit a PayPal payment button (after logging in to your PayPal Business Account):

Go to your App Center.
Click View all next to 'Accept Payments'.
Click the PayPal buttons tile, then Get Started.
Click View your saved buttons.
Click Action next to the button you want to edit and select Edit button.
Important:
To allow your customer to add personalized text, you can add a text field on the editing page. This field will appear above your button.
If you've customized the button, such as adding a dropdown menu or text field, please follow the instructions on the page and implement the HTML code to create your button. Only the buttons without customization has the "Email URL" option.
You can locate your Merchant ID within your PayPal account settings.
