Help. I and numerous of our members are receiving the enable the cookie message. I have used Edge and chrome browsers and enabled the cookies in my settings. I am only having this issue with 1 of my 3 clubs that use FTH. My club number is 4165 at www.whtoastmasters.com/ Is the issue possibly is that it is set up as a ".com" instead of a ".org"?

Was a change made recently to your domain name? Early this year when our domain was due for renewal the member who owns the domain account changed us from .org to .com.

Our site started throwing the cookie warning at us just as you described until we went back in and fixed the DNS records per the FTH instructions:

There seems to be a problem with your DNS settings .com or .org doesn't matter, as long as the settings are correct. Check them against the instructions rhtaylor3 has directed you to.

I see the following error message when trying to add the url to your admin consol:
This domain is not yet pointing to the IP address 50.19.253.65. In your domain registrar's DNS area, modify the existing "A" and "MX" records for this domain, to point to 50.19.253.65, wait the amount of time as specified by your domain host, then try again. Don't forget to add the url to your console once everything is set up correctly

Thanks Pam and rhtaylor. Will contact our register. It is interesting to note :We are having issues with using Edge, Microsoft Explorer, and Chrome. We have enabled cookies settings on these browsers, then retried logging in but the cookie error still pops up. I have then closed the pop up which seems to reload the page and shows I am logged on, but logs me out if I try to access our agenda.

We are only able to use Firefox without any issues.

Contacted GoDaddy who said that since the FreeToastHost url is simply forwarded to whtoastmasters.com, the problem would be with FreeToastHost. They can't change the DNS. Forwarding wouldn't impede logging in to the website. I thought the instructions were to change the DNS through our domain registrars (Go Daddy). Is it actually in FTH?

Your website won't work until your domain name is set up properly.
The settings you need to change are in the table under section 1.2 in the documentation:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

Once that is done you need to follow through the rest of the steps.

We use GoDaddy as well and went through this same process. Forwarding is the culprit. Once forwarding is disabled the DNS A record can be edited.
