I entered a contact whose email address ended in .cc to the guests database. She did not receive the opt in email. After a bit of digging and a couple of tries I discovered that my cut and paste of her email had included a trailing space, or possibly a tab - some spacing non visible character. When I removed it the email went through. I don’t know if this occurs with the better known.com or .org.
Have you seen this before?

timothygreenwood Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 15 Thank you received: 0	Since trailing spaces, tabs and similar are not legal in emails, but can easily be inadvertently entered why doesn’t the system trim them before entering into the database.
