Dear Good People:

When I am looking to edit an agenda and use the button to pull down the list of members so I can add one to the program, nothing happens.I am using a Droid Smart Phone or a Droid Tablet. Pull downs work elsewhere in FTH3. They work on my PC running the Chrome browser.
Any Ideas?

1) We have never said that the agenda edit or admin console are mobile compatible.

2) have you tried the reload link at the bottom of your site?

3) what browser and version

4) which dated agenda are you trying to edit?

Thank you,

I think it is an issue with the drag and drop functionality. On my phone, the drag and drop function is getting triggered instead of allowing the touch to pass through to the drop-down. I am not sure that there is anything I can do about this other than disabling drag and drop on small screens. Everything is specified correctly for the UI library function that is doing the drag and drop, so it is likely an incompatibility in the library function.

The library is old and no longer maintained, so we are going to be forced to go to a new UI library at some point. (a major undertaking) :(

You will likely see the same issue with the agenda template editor.

As Brian notes, the agenda stuff and the admin console stuff do not work very well on small screens because of the table layouts in them. The editor is a good example. Membership management is another example of something challenging on a small screen.

Thanks for getting back to me. I know FTH3 was not designed for android smart phones. I just use it as far as it will go.

I log in as both admin and myself on earlybird.toastmastersclubs.org. I launch the Admin Console. I click the Website Settings and I get the pull-down menu, I select Membership Management. I select Select People, Then Select a Tool... and I get the pull-down member. Skipping that, I move over to Officer Roles and click the Presidet and I get the pull-down menu of offices. I skip over to the New Member Welcome tab and click "Select New Members to Welcome" and I get the pull-down tab. And so on. All these pull-down windows work

Then I go to Members Only | Meeting Agendas and come up with July 17, 2021. I select View Another Agenda and the pull-down window works. I select the crayon icon and up comes the Editing Meeting Agenda screen. In Agenda Items. I click any of the Click to Assign Member pull-downs and they don't work. Do I am wondering, what is different here in the coding from all the other pull-down menus.

Just wondering, quite respectfully. What is different here? It sure would be handy if these pull-downs worked on my droid smart phone. --Thanks, Kip

I already told you... it is the drag and drop functionality. Please read my post. :pinch: The agenda editors are the only place this functionality is used, and the drop-downs are right in the middle of what would otherwise trigger a drag and drop. I do have an exception called out in the code for touching/clicking the drop-downs, but my exception apparently is not "taking" on Android.
