I just re-sent a membership opt-in message to a new member (David Gillman) for the second time.  The member said he received the email but an URL is missing so there is no link for him to click on so he can gain access and added to the club website.Our club is Catalyst Club.
I've attached a copy of his message.

The attachment you've provided says *** This is a confirming *copy* of an email sent to "David Gillman" for his/her pending addition to your website. ***, and ***Link omitted in this copy.***
This is the copy sent to the site admin, which obviously doesn't have active links. 
The links on the email sent to the new member should be present and active.

He says they are not there but I will doublecheck with him.  Would it make a difference if this is the second time he was sent the opt-in email (since he didn't opt=in earlier?)

The second or subsequent opt-ins should all be the same as the first.  I actually sent a second opt-in to one of my club guests yesterday, and he opted in successfully.
