Club 608696 Shelton Toastmasters at shelton.toastmastersclubs.org/ has close down and will be dissolved.  We have effectively merged our membership with 606146 Housatonic Toastmasters at www.housatonic.toastmastersclubs.org/ and we would like to redirect the Shelton URL to the Housatonic URL.  Can you do this for us?

Hi.  I checked to see if you are, for the Shelton club, using a Custom Website Domain.  If that were the case, you'd likely be best off working with your domain provider to set up a redirect.  I suspect Brian might be best able to address this.  I see it as a potential FTH "rules violation," in that you are seeking to maintain a club entry in the system but have people trying to access it being pointed elsewhere.  If it were my club, I'd post a big "WE'RE MOVING/MERGING!" message on the Shelton site, advising visitors how to get to the Housatonic site, then after a sufficient period of transition simply request from FTH support that the Shelton site be removed.
It appears you've already addressed this, but don't forget to copy from Shelton to Housatonic any data you wish to be preserved before requesting deletion.

Hope that helps!
