We received the following message

NOTE:  We were unable to create / renew a HTTPS certificate for your custom domain: www.stpetetoastmasters.orgThis means that you may not be able to access your website using https:// with your custom domainname after any existing certificates expire.

Custom website domain www.stpetetoastmasters.org
Club number 2284

After reading a few similar incidents this may be a case of the automated tool failing on the initial run and correcting itself on the next run. Is there any way to confirm that?

Also have reviewed the following found in the body of the message

  1. Your DNS records are set up incorrectly.Looks fine at first glance
  2. You are using domain forwarding--it is *not* supported. Correct
  3. Your custom domain has expired. Confirmed active
  4. The custom domain listed in the admin console is no longer being used. Confirmed active
  5. We were unable to connect with the free LetsEncrypt! service to create the certificate. Is there anything on our end that could be preventing this. Please advise

Confirmed. Usually nothing on your end that causes this.
  • Domain (stpetetoastmasters.org) was successfully VALIDATED.
    Domain expires on 2022-07-31.
[Sat Apr 16 08:10:41 2022 GMT - Renewal Loop] Could not generate the certificate--request_certificate() failed: Could not finalize an order.

The next automatic run should pick it up but I ran a manual update now;
[Thu May 5 03:00:08 2022 GMT] Cert Expires: Wed Aug 3 02:00:06 2022 UTC [stpetetoastmasters.org.crt]
