Hi Support Team. Two errors are displayed when I try to load and log into the Clayfield Toastmasters Club's website (clayfieldtoastmasters.org.au), club 6006.  When loading the site, the certificate error shown in the attached screen capture is displayed. I can proceed to the site via the advanced option, but when I try to either log in or launch the admin console, the data transfer error shown in the attached screen capture is displayed.  I've tried reloading the site using the link at the bottom of the homepage, but to no avail.  Please advise/assist. Thanks, Cam Krook

Hi Cam - a bit of insider knowledge here - I suspect you might be affected by the changes to .org.au sites that came into effect last year.
Refer: www.auda.org.au/au-domain-names/new-au-l...s/orgau-rule-changes

Otherwise make sure your dns settings are correct - see here:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

You can always access your FTH website via the club number url:  6006.toastmastersclubs.org/

Hi Pam, thanks very much. I suspect you're right because I only renewed the .org.au domain on Friday, 3 June.  Coincidentally, I discovered the errors because I was just about to change the club's registered domain from .org.au to .club for this very reason.

Incidentally, I've found that the registrar's nameserver entries, which can't be edited or deleted, for the .ORG.AU domain are ns15.domaincontrol.com and ns16..., but they are ns67.domaincontrol.com and ns68... for the .CLUB domain.  I can't find any FTH documentation about nameservers (only the A and MX entries).  Do they need to be a particular value as far as FTH is concerned?  I assume not, because I believe they'll be my registrar's responsibility.

I believe you should be fine with the A & MX entries - the name servers shouldn't matter.

Don't forget to change your url  in the admin console (basic settings) - presumably where you were going, and on Club Central, etc.

Thanks, Pam.  You're correct: I was trying to change the URL in the admin console when I discovered the error.  It didn't occur to me to use the 6006.toastmastersclubs.org URL instead of the registered domain.  Makes sense.  It was the first thing I was about to change before updating Club Central, agenda templates, Facebook, etc.  Of course, I should have attended to this in April 2021 when the news about the .ORG.AU TLD broke, but it completely slipped my mind until I renewed the domain on Friday.

By the way, I have written to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to request a list from Club Central of all clubs with .ORG.AU as their TLD.  Do you know if anyone else has done so?  If not, I'll take responsibility as D69's PRM to contact all clubs throughout Australia, and suggest that the adopt a .CLUB or other domain.

I'm still seeing the data transfer error when using the 6006.toastmastersclubs.org domain, so I can't save my change to the Custom Web Domain field.
Last edit: by CamK-Webmaster. Reason: Added save action.

Clayfield is the last of the .org.au clubs in D69

Try refreshing your browser to get rid of the error - I didn't see it.  Else if you're updating the URL, clear it first and save, then go in again and change it.
