I have a member who asked this question: "if I make my profile public, do you know if it would show up in a Google search?"

This is how I responded."Even if it did there's no information about you other than your name unless you put in social media links. Everything that's behind the password-protected portion of our site is encrypted"

Did I make this up or is it true?

Everything that is not behind a password, is public on the internet and can end up on Google.

We only encrypt the password on our database.

Due to the https requirement FTH has, all content is transmitted encrypted from our server to the PC on which you are viewing the information,
