I can't change the name of one of our new members and he can't log in. The last name is in there incorrectly. His first name is Paul.

I am the admin.

When he attempts to login, he can begin typing his name and a drop-down list will appear with this name as entered in Membership Management. If he selects this instead of typing in what it should be, he can login. If this succeeds, he can make the corrections himself in his member profile.

When you attempt to save the changes in Membership Management does an error message appear? Such as "You have errors in your form below. Please scroll down and correct the following:"

Inability to save changes is often due to a conflict with an email address. This doesn't appear to be the case with Paul as he has already successfully completed the opt-in. Clear cache and reload the site from the server as first steps to resolve why changes in Membership Management to his name and phone have not succeeded. Please include error messages and screen shots to provide necessary info for us to investigate further.

Paul has tried your first suggestion. It won't let him login.

When you attempt to save the changes in Membership Management does an error message appear? Such as "You have errors in your form below. Please scroll down and correct the following:" No.

I tried reloading from the server. No change.

I normally use FireFox. I tried opening Membership Management from Chrome. That didn't help. That should be the equivalent of clearing the browser cache. I'd rather not clear the FireFox browser cache as I would have to manually enter a gazillion passwords.

I fixed the problem. Deleted the defective Paul data from Membership Management and put good new data in. Should have tried that earlier.
