Good afternoon,

I am unable to send the agenda to any list other than All Members.  Additionally, only Members are able to sign up for a meeting role.  Am I missing a setting that would allow this, or are only Members allowed to be sent the agenda and sign up for roles?

We have had "Helping Hands" and Guests join us for our last few meetings and in order to allow them permission to sign up for a role, I had to add them as Members.  Since they aren't members of the club, I didn't want to add them as such on our site; however, I didn't have a choice if I wanted to send them the agenda and have them sign up for a role.

This would be a helpful update to allow us to add Guests, Friends/Affiliates, and Prospectives to the list to Send the Agenda and allow these lists to sign up for a role.

Thank you,
Nigelle Kohn

Hello Nigelle,
Yes, this limitation is how the site is designed for MEMBERS only.
If you want to offer roles to folks outside the club, you can mark them for yourself or set up an auxiliary email with "member name" as something like NewMember or Guest. My 2 clubs make good use ot the later and use the notes section to indicate who will be taking that roles.
Let me know of your success!

Thank you for your response.  I would like to advocate that an update be made to allow the other Lists to be added to the drop down for sending out the agenda and signing up for meeting roles.

I'm not sure I completely understand how to implement your suggestion; it also seems this may work for a single guest but seems tedious when there are multiple guests/non-members involved. Since the lists are already created in the system, it would seem more beneficial to update the coding to allow the Lists to be used as I'm suggesting. For simplicity, I'm sure I may not be the only person moving "non-members" to member status to expedite sending agendas and coordinating meeting role sign up.

Additionally, since the Lists can't be used for the purpose I'm suggesting, I'm not sure I understand the benefit of having the different categories or adding them into the site.

Thank you again for your response....I hope you consider my suggestion...if not now, at some time in the future.
