Hi Roger and colleagues!

I publish a monthly newsletter for our club, Oneonta Toastmasters #9253 at oneonta.toastmastersclubs.org. Next month's newsletter is found in the Main Menu on website page 1, and called "2013-08 August Newsletter" (or see Word version attachment to this E-mail.) The template I traditionally use is from Brand Portal at www.toastmasters.org (the 3-column "Word" Club Template.) I had an important article to reprint from the HQ website about Eulogies. I needed a third column on the page 2 of the template to fit it in - or I would have had to cut out the ending of the article. I tried to eliminate the red outline around Column 3 (a space I usually would have otherwise used for a short piece on a different subject altogether.) My "outline-erasing" efforts were not fruitful and several members commented on how it "threw them off visually" as it seemed an odd way to end the article from a format perspective. I always try to work around the outline provided for length of printed matter but this time it just did not work due the importance of the content. How does one get rid of that 3rd column red outline in case this issue comes up again in the future - I try to make a pleasing presentation as well as giving them things of interest to read. Has anyone wrestled with this difficulty before? Thank you fellow Toastmasters !

Alice,

I have attached the fix.

Keep in mind that this is not a website issue, it is a Microsoft Word template from Toastmasters International. We can't always address MS or TI quirks, but we do what we can for each other.

This message has an attachment file.
