Since our VPE and I have invested a considerable amount of time in building our site, I'm determined to encourage members to use it. My first action will be a series of web teaser messages. Below is my first one.


Our Web Calendar is Your Friend

You look up from your desk, glance at the clock, and notice that it’s almost 6:00pm. “Oh my goodness, it’s Thursday,” you say to yourself, “Do I have a Masters meeting tonight?” You’ve been a Masters member for years. You know our meetings are 2nd and 4th, Thursdays, but in your defense, you struggle to keep all the details of your schedule straight when there are so many of them. Our Calendar page on www.masterstm.org can be your friend. It doesn’t mind that you can’t remember. It simply waits for a visit from you. Our Calendar shows when we have scheduled meetings. If you login as a member, you can view the role assignments for a meeting by clicking on the “agenda” on that date. You can even sign up for open roles. Other things you can find on the Calendar include:
  • Date, time, and location of Area K2 contest
  • Date, time, and location of Division K contest
  • Reminder of when it’s time to pay Masters dues and the amount of dues
Make our Calendar your friend and make your life a little easier. ======= That's it (short, to the point, light-hearted). Of course if they find my web teaser messages annoying, I'll stop doing them.
