Calendar - Where are My Events? 12 years 6 months ago #2931

Yesterday i posted some events to the club calendar or at least thought I had :0( Today they are not on the calendar.

When I put them on the calendar, they all were colored the Administrator's color (which I was working as at the time), and I wasn't able to change the color at the bottom screen to show as user input.

What integral step did I miss? Thank you.

We had to do a restore of the calendar this morning. Sorry but your changes from yesterday were lost.

Please re-post your calendar entries.

As far as the colours, you have to logged in as a user and not as the admin to get the user colour.

I can't address why the calendar items are missing, but I think I can help on the colouring. First you cannot change the colours, that is controlled by the program.

When adding calendar items, thjey appear to be tied to the logon password, not the user's name. (This happens when an admin logs in as a user with the admin password.) In my case, I logged on as a member, by entering the Admin password. The events showed up as user events, but as soon as I logged out as admin, they appeared in the colour of Admin events.

Thank you for both responses. I suspect there will be others in the same boat who lost their calendar items. Is there anyway I can back up my website, or FTH can, before a reboot happens?

I am not sure what you mean by "a reboot happens"

You can backup the html content and image files but not the calendar or agenda.
