Well done Rick !!!

If you ever feel like doing some generic movies about FTH 2.0 let us know. There are many club site admins that will be going through training their members and your little video is a great training aid.

Thank you,

Well done Rick! Only comment I have is that the discussion of the calendar/agenda connection is not as clear as it might have been. You mention the red/blue only in passing rather than taking a couple more seconds to highlight the linkage.

By the way, most people are not used to seeing an agenda with a full page of text before the meeting agenda itself. You might discuss this as what your club does, but perhaps not what everyone wants or expects!

Nicely done Rick.

The pace is good. The flow is logical.

I especially like how you explained the process of getting an initial member password established.

On the calendar part, if you mention the red items you might say the web administrator adds those.

Thanks for sharing. I'll show this to some of the video divas in our club and see if they want to do something similar.

When I watched this video it appeared that the cursor was NOT clicking on the links as advertised but about an inch above. Was this an optical illusion that happened because of the browser I use? Did anyone else see this effect?
Other than that it was a great video tutorial. Nice job Rick!

Tim,

I noticed the odd cursor placement as well. I'm using Safari.

Pam,
Thanks for confirming that it wasn't just my eyes playing tricks on me and that it wasn't just my browser.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I just downloaded the program that did the screen capture and yes, apparently it does vertically displace the mouse as well as the screen boundaries.

Great intro to the new 2.0 websites. It reminded me that users can also use their e-mail to login, in addition to their names which I have been telling everyone.

This is worth sharing with our members. Thank you for sharing it with us.

New youtube tutorial for FreeToastHost 2.0

Adding information to custom webpages. Note: I used a different screen capture program where the mouse actually appears where I click it.

Enjoy,

Rick Lakin
