These evaluations have made me think, and for that I am grateful. I have tried to use our home page for 2 purposes, to let newcomers learn about us and also to let members know what is happening. I was wondering if it would be an idea to have a different home page after a member logs on. Any thoughts? John Lovering CC

You are right! Some websites have so much information in the home page. Maybe we can have the information on the main menu, and call it Other Club Information, that way a visitor can see what is happening on the club. Aida.

I saw your Website, I like the video! I wouldn't ad any more, I think your information is perfect for a visitor. The " free web counter" gave me an error. I am impressed about the information about the Main Manu.. Aida.

Thanks Aida, Other Club Information is a good idea on the Main Menu. It always appears on the calendar but who looks at that?. I wonder if putting it on the main menu is a way of hiding it again. I am wondering if having a link to the information that is important called "What's Happening" or "Check This Out". or "Members Check This Out". THankyou for your insights John.

Hi Aida,
Thanks for the comment about the old counter. It is not useful anymore with the new FTH counter so I willremove it. Thanks again for giving feedback. It is much appreciated.John

I like what you’ve done with your home page. The “triangle” of links is very effective. What a pity that the alias Triangle has been used by another club.

Your newsletters look very professional and I would say they are a great marketing asset to your club. I would suggest that rather than have them hidden away in the Public Downloads area, have a custom page with links to the newsletters, and hide the public downloads menu item.

Your calendar is informative, and I like the way you have a link to it on your Meeting Information Page. Your calendar has your meeting room information showing on Wednesdays, but your agendas are on Thursdays.

Your Meeting Information page is good, especially with the photo of the building. As a visitor to your site I would prefer to see a link to the “Contact Us” form rather than to the “How to Join” page. I do like your images of envelopes that open up the Contact Us form.
You have a lot of custom pages in the Public area. I’d suggest that you drop the Toastmasters Australia page (it isn’t of relevance to non-Toastmasters / visitors). Having said that, you could create another “triangle” showing the levels of the organisation (Club – Area – Division – District – Region – TI) with links to their web sites. Decide whether to show it in the Members Only area or the Public area.

I would suggest that you use the reordering option to group your custom pages logically, e.g. President’s Welcome (that is a nice touch!) and History could be grouped below each other, What to Expect / How to Join could go together and News/ Meeting Reports / Photo Gallery and Newsletters (if you use my earlier suggestion) could be grouped together.

I like your photo gallery, especially the fact that it is current. You might want to try changing the alignment of some of the pictures (left, right and centre) for a bit of variety, but it looks good as it is.

Your site suggests a happy and vibrant club. You have obviously put a lot of work into the content, I’m sure you will reap the rewards.

I like your idea of a separate "Home Page" for members. I recall someone suggesting that a while ago. Please post a separate entry to that effect in the Improvement Suggestions forum. The more requests there are, the more likely it is to happen :)
