Everything looks pretty good, except for the color selections. The green and the cyan seem out of place to me.

You have a good value proposition on your home page. The group photo is nice.

Your M.O.M page is good, but you should include all your officers with bios.

Your Meeting Info page would benefit from an exterior photo of your venue.

Downloads area would benefit from use of virtual folders.

Hi Steve;

Yes, thanks - I know about the colors - not an interior designer - just wanted to show some contrast - some colors make the text near impossible to read - for us color challenged there should be a pallette set of 3 or 4 colors that are complimentary (themes). Some colors just don't work at all. What is M.O.M. ? (Members Only Menu - my guess ? )

I am still doing my HPL by offering to assist our D42 clubs with no websites, so want to demo to them the possibilities of making their FTH club website unique to their club - some complain that they all look near alike - I say, "well, there are some options to help make unique"

Thanks again !
Terry

M.O.M. ... sorry Meet Our Members page. (I call it the MOM page internally. lol)

BTW, the theme colors are in the left-side color palette of the color picker.

The following are my views on the use of color: support.toastmastersclubs.org/6-tips-and...-on-the-use-of-color

You may want to upsize your Google map a bit, also.

Hi Terry!

Beautiful Province, Alberta! I was there briefly in the late 80's as part of a NATO exercise. I would like to go back WITHOUT Sergeants. telling me what to do. ;)

I agree with Steve, in that the colors are a bit bright. For those color challenged (your words, not mine) I always recommend incorporating the colors of you overhead banner on the main page and using that scheme on all the other pages. This will give your site uniformity, and allow the visitor to feel comfortable clicking around. You already have a light gray in the central panel. Perhaps changing the powder blue to a medium in the middle of the banner?

The group photo is very nice, but I would suggest adding one or two more, preferably with people delivering a speech. Action photos speak volumes. You have a lot of original content. You may want to consider retiring the Accordion Panels. They just look to ... stock. I believe they were intended to create some instant content for new clubs, but you're way past that now.

You have a lot of social media. That's great, but the last Tweet was in 2011. Updates will help drive people to your site. I noticed you had a member interview John Carpenter at a "con". That's HUGE, and should have gotten more of a mention than it did. That would definitely be tweet-worthy.

At our last District conference, we set up a "Learning Center" to help other clubs with their websites. I never thought of making it an HPL... very smart! I wish you the best of luck.
