New website request email not being received

Hi there,

I am trying to help set up a website for club #1538599. When putting in the request, I see the correct club contact person/email listed (attachment). However, she is not getting the requests to approve (have sent 2x) - while I am indeed receiving the email "copy" of the request ("....Your request has been received and is pending authorization. You will receive an e-mail as soon as it is approved or denied...").

She has searched her spam and trash folders to no avail. Any suggestions on other means to get the website request approved? She would like to continue being the club contact.

Thanks so much!
Ashley

ATT.net is not accepting email from the FTH server. There is nothing we can do about it.
As an ATT customer she can contact them and demand that they let mail from toastmastersclubs.org (50.19.253.65) through.

Wow! I've never heard of such a thing. Thank you for the info. May I please ask you 2 follow up questions?:
1) If the club temporarily changed their contact person so that a different person could approve and then reassigned it to the att email, would there also be issues with that email being listed as the FTH contact person? If a guest used the contact form, would she still receive emails via ATT?
2) Are there other known providers who also do not accept FTH mail so that we can be aware of this?
Much appreciated!
Ashley

Att.net controls who and why they blockpeople and servers you would need to ask them.

Yes if the contact email at Toastmasters find a club was changed to not use an att.net email. the request should go through

I'm a long-time att.net email customer, who also suddenly stopped receiving FTH club site emails. I've sent an email to their "block list group" (abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net) requesting that toastmastersclubs.org (50.19.253.65) be removed from their blacklist and added to their whitelist.

See their support page on this topic at:
www.att.com/esupport/postmaster/index.jsp

It would probably help if others, including FTH administrators, also contacted ATT and added their voice to mine.

So far as I know, the att.net issue has not been resolved. However, for what it may be worth to others in this situation, I just created a new yahoo.com email address, changed my profile to point to that instead of my long-time att.net address, and I was able to send a Basic Email to myself from the Membership Management tool. Success! yahoo.com does not appear to also be blocking toastmastersclubs.org emails. I find this somewhat odd - and amusing - because all the "baby bell" email domains (att.net, sbcglobal.net, et cetera) are now run by Yahoo.
