I have spent 4 hrs, trying to link our agenda to our Zoom Meeting registration. It works fine, but when it is saved as a template the Meeting venue reverts to a view of the world map or goes back to our website. The Meeting URL remains as the Zoom Meeting registration/sign-in.

I took it out of the 'heading' and now the lower Venue link refers to a map of my location. Which is not right because we meet online.

I added the  in person link it works in the dated agenda and the zoom link works in the dated agenda.
The map buttons don't work in the template editor and i will let the programmer know.

I created a Hybred location and both links show and work.

You guys are using the feature incorrectly.

If you want a google map for a physical venue, then you *must* enter the address of the venue.  There really is no option to enter both a google map url and a zoom url.   The Google map is linked directly to the address entry. (There is no need to provide a separate Google maps URL.)  This is because you should be entering an actual address for a physical location... Why would you have a meeting at a physical location and not provide the address???  :?

Please learn how to use the software correctly.

We are a 100% Online Club and have no physical location. On the other hand, we belong to a District which does have a general location.

For Clubs the district location is irrelevant and is not required or needed.

If you want to use a Google Map for a meeting venue, you *must* enter something for a physical address that Google maps can use.  It could be British Columbia, CA for example.  A Google Map implies having some sort of physical location.  I do not care if you are 100% online, that is how this works.

Since Club are now being allowed to be 100% online clubs since a change in Toastmaster Policies, It seems to me 'that is how it work' should be changed to reflect the new Policy. I made my living being a software developer and I stayed in business because I made changes to the changing times. Then when I did not change to a fourth-generation database I slowly lost my customers until the last two years ago.

You could add one new feature to FTH that TI-IT Dept is not addressing is a place for Toastmaster Members who belong to Non-FTH Agenda clubs can add their Pathways Speeches. This will give the Base Camp Manager a place to go to verify All the fields are already in your database, you just have to create an input screen for the member. If you do not trust the member, to be honest, add the name of their evaluator or the club VP-Ed of the club they gave the speech.

Brian
We are not a replacement or backup for TI Basecamp. The only valid place to record speeches and projects is TI Basecamp. FTH only provides the pathways information to make it easier to assemble an agenda and to conduct a meeting. The member is responsible for keeping their information up-to-date on the TI Basecamp.

This is no different from it being the members responsibility to keep their manuals up-to-date and provide them to the VPEd when claiming an award.

I keep mine in a table in a Word Document, then when the list got too big I moved them to a Spreadsheet even when we had a Manual.

Back in those old Manual Days, TI would have the VP-Education copy them from the Manual and add them to the database at TI. Then came along Pathways and there is nowhere for a Member to record their Speech Title, the day of the Speech, their Evaluator, If a club is using Easy-Speak the club has a record provide the Toastmaster of the Meeting validates the Agenda after the meeting is over. That does not happen, because Easy-Speak closes the meeting even before it starts,

At least you added the tickmark to say the meeting is Reconciled. It could be very easy for you to see how often that occurs.

You are lucky in a way that the other two main choices to FTH3 also do not believe in taking their product out of the 21st Century Teck and moving into the NEW Modern era.

Other than Toastmasters, I have never been involved in Club Management before. What surprises me is how Toastmasters say we learn from our mistakes. My observation about Toastmasters is Information Techknowleges.do not learn from their mistakes, nor will they listen to the many IT professional that are Members of Toastmasters.

I will continue this discution in the 'Paper' as is said.

Pathways by the wahy do not even have a place for the member to tick off they have even given the speech. Or what day you gave it or at what club or even who your evaluator was. I can get that information from FTH if I am an Admin on the account.

In my 16 years as a Toastmaster, I have helped members who lost their Manual recreate them from the Club Agenda. I even helped a member get his DTM when there was a twenty-year gap in his membership. Luckily for him, he had his old Manuals.

Actually TI Basecamp does have a place for the speech Title, it is the evaluation and if the member follows through and uploads his evaluation to the Pathways he will have the information and proof of completion., but that is up to the member to do.

I did not choose pathways but it is the tool we are given and are required to use. So upward and onward we will use it to the best of its ability.
