I need to configure
{Guest}
to forward to our president's club email, as in This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I encounter the error

'The primary email address can not be a club list, alias, or group email address. Please change it to an email account address that can receive email.'

You can not do that. Guest emails go to the guesu list.

Thank you,

I'm not familiar with 'gnesu'.

ZI'm unable to change the forwarding email even if I insert a gmail address. I save, close the window. When opening the original email remains.

Is there a way to forward guest email to the president. I'm not seeing anything in the help docs.

Any email address in Membership Management must be outside the FTH forwarding system. (@toastmastersclbus.org) That's why you received the error stated in your original topic. There is no FTH mail server. In order to work, the FTH email aliases must always point to someone's personal email.

Email sent to guests@ will always be delivered to everyone listed in the Guest tab in Membership Management. There's no way to change this.

You could try this; set up an Archive Email address for your club. That will capture anything sent to guests@. Then you can configure a rule in that account to automatically forward such emails to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

See "Club archive email address + login info" in this document;
