Hello all!

This is my first time posting. I'm a club president, and a Division Director, and a Pathways Guide, this year. Phew, it's been busy!

My question is about whether or not FTH can add support for a new email alias or account, effectively Pathways-[clubnumber]@toastmastersclubs.org ?

All of the Pathways Guide training materials make a point that clubs need to have an email address that collects notifications from Toastmasters International Base Camp, and forwards them to the club President, club VPE, and club Secretary. It seems to me that this is something that's probably easier to automate through the existing FTH system — let each club create an email alias for that role, and then us that as the Pathways email address that ALWAYS automatically forwards to the email addresses of those three officers.

Is that doable?

Sincerely,
Andrew Watt

By using the contact-nnnnn email address for your club contact email address FTH automatically will send any email from basecamp to the 3 basecamp managers.

This has been in place since last year FTH has been ready since day 1 for Pathways.

Andrew, the thing that gets lost in all this and something we have already accounted for is that Base Camp sends its notifications to the email address listed for your club in Find a Club. You cannot change that even though most clubs use that address for communications from prospective new members.

Our existing approach handles this.
