Your VP membership needs to train the new members in the procedure to join the website. The opt-in email will not change.

Moved your email to a new thread.
Your club admin can change the WELCOME email that is sent after the opt-in email.. Please read the documentation

Your club admin can change the WELCOME email that is sent after the opt-in email.

The WELCOME email is only sent to new members, not non-members that are added to the database.

I have several Prospects, who opted-in, that are now members. When I move them from the Prospects list into the Members list, does that movement trigger the system to automatically send them a New Member Welcome email or do I need to manually send them the New Member Welcome email by selecting their names in the New Member Welcome tab?
