It's not there. It has member login and login as site admin, and they both have a picture of a lock beside them. So I click on login as site admin, and I get the same "club number or password is wrong " message.

Hmm... If you click the link in the email, you should be already logged in as the site admin once it loads the website.

On the off chance that this is IE10 related, given that we have had some issues with that version of IE, maybe I should try sending you another email with a link in it, and you try using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome. I will send you another email with a link in it--look for that. See if you can try accessing your email via a different browser, so that you can load the website with that other browser.

I tried the new link, and I was finally able to launch the admin console. I have entered all my club's info, (members, etc.) I have a problem now with registering our domain. I went to register.com, and it tells me that toastmastersclubs.org is invalid. Also, on toastmasters.org website, it has our club website listed as sugartown. How do I change that? And, could you tell me (once our website is registered) how do I download pictures, etc. from our Facebook page to our website?

You need to get an officer of your club to login to Club Central and update the details there. Sometimes, it can take a little while for the change to show in the find-a-club listing.

Spare yourself anxiety and Backup your site regularly.

Ian,

I tried the new link, and I was finally able to launch the admin console. I have entered all my club's info, (members, etc.)

Awesome! B)

I have a problem now with registering our domain. I went to register.com, and it tells me that toastmastersclubs.org is invalid.

You only need to register a domain if you are intending to register a custom domain that is unique to your club website and does not use toastmastersclubs.org as the "base" of the domain--a custom domain is not required to use FreeToastHost 2. However, if you want a custom domain, you have to pay the registrar a fee for exclusive use of the domain for a certain period--getting the domain to work with FTH2 requires that you or the registrar follow a procedure that we give you to get everything hooked up and working right.

It does not look like you were using a custom domain before. It looks like you were using a website alias, and you could basically do the same thing with FTH2. Using the same sugartown website alias, you could just direct people to sugartown.toastmastersclubs.org, if you set that up in the Admin Console--2nd field on first page of it. The website alias is free and much easier to set up than a custom domain. The custom domain is more concise, though, and is very specific to your club. (e.g., your website could be at www.sugartowntm.org or similar, for example.)

Also, on toastmasters.org website, it has our club website listed as sugartown. How do I change that?

Well, building on Jane's post, I see that you are your club's VPPR. Because you are an officer, you can update the information on the Tosastmasters International website. Here is how:
  1. Go to the following and log in to the Toastmasters International website or register for a login there. This is *different* than your club website login and the login for this support site.

  2. Go here: cdcentral.toastmasters.org/EbusPPROD/Default.aspx Click on red Club Central at bottom left.

  3. Follow directions here to make changes: support.toastmastersclubs.org/administra...ontact-email-address

And, could you tell me (once our website is registered) how do I download pictures, etc. from our Facebook page to our website?

Your website is up and active *now*. No registration is needed, unless you want a custom domain name. You really should take a look at the following quick start guide: support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/admin...tart-guide-club-site

To upload pictures, first make sure they exist on your computer--if they are online on Facebook, you will need to download them to your computer first. Once they are on your computer, you can place pictures on the Home page, the Meeting Info/Directions page, or any custom webpage you create using the visual HTML editor for the respective page.
Here is how: support.toastmastersclubs.org/html-edito...sert-your-own-images
Here is the doc for the visual HTML editor: docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Users_Guide
